Larry Bradley Will Continue to Campaign for District 10,
Respect the Will of the People and Not Apply for Appointment
Larry Bradley, candidate for Legislative District 10, has decided against filing an
application for the appointment to the now open seat. The seat opened when current
State Senator Mike Friend was appointed to head the Office of Violence Prevention.
Bradley released this statement.
“As a candidate who filed, earlier this year, to run for this office, I will campaign to win
the hearts and minds of the voters in District 10. The Governor has a history of
appointing people to these elected offices who have gained favor with him. It is my
opinion that we respect the will of the people in regards to term limits that were passed
and that an open and honest election be held for this office.
I will continue to campaign and meet with the people of district 10 and hope the
Governor makes the right choice and appoints someone who will only fill out the
remainder of the term.”
